Man Utd midfielder Sancho: Ten Hag needs time - as do the signings

Manchester United midfielder Jadon Sancho insists defeat to Brighton last week will prove a blip.

United limped to a disappointing loss on the opening Premier League weekend, losing 2-1 to Graham Potters impressive Brighton side at Old Trafford as the era of Erik ten Hag got underway.

"It takes time to mold in the system. We have new players and they have to get used to how we play," said Sancho.

"It will come good for sure, I have belief in the manager, the system and the players we have.

"We just have to stay positive. I don't think it will take that much time."

He additionally admitted that new players need time to settle, but believes the team will come good this season as he spoke with NBC Sports.

"It's Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the world.

"When we lose to Brighton of course people are going to be upset, as players we are upset.

"Once we start winning I think we will be good."
