Man Utd midfielder McTominay: Solskjaer means a lot to me; McKenna and Carrick incredible

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay admits he appreciates the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Speaking with VG, McTominay was asked about his relationship with the Norwegian manager.

"Solskjaer means a lot to me when it comes to everything he has helped me with," said McTominay.

"Even in the last season, I have had a great development in self-confidence, a great development in how I grow into football matches and take more space on the field. I have a lot to thank him for."

McTominay also talked up the impact of assistant coaches Kieran McKenna and Michael Carrick.

"The influence these people have had on me has been incredible. I honestly could not have imagined anyone better to help me take the step to the next level.

"At my age, it's just about taking it all in and improving myself season by season."
