Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has urged the club to buy big this summer.

Casemiro admits he wants to see the squad strengthened.

He said, "When world-class players come in, players with quality, it is always welcome.

"We always want quality players here and it is always important to have many options in the squad. But we players know that there are people in the club who have the right knowledge to solve it.

"We have John (Murtough, sporting director) who signed me, so I have full confidence in him along with his staff and the coach. It is always the club that has the last word, and we players should not get involved in that.

"But the more top players you have, the better, because we know that with many quality players there will be tougher competition for places and that means we will get better."
