Manchester United and Manchester City are chasing a deal for Benfica midfielder Cher Ndour.

The 18 year-old Italian has been likened to Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

The Sun says City and United scouts have watched Ndour for both Benfica and Italy's Under-20 side.

While considering his options ahead of the summer market, Ndour is reluctant to return to Italy.

Ndour signed for Benfica in 2020 and at 16 years and 269 days, he was the youngest player ever to represent the B team - beating the record set by Chelsea loan star Joao Felix.

Ndour made his debut for Benfica's first team in March and has seven caps for Italy under-20s.
