Manchester United are making one final effort for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
Buoyed by their deal for former Real Madrid ace Casemiro, United are now to try again for Holland international De Jong.
De Jong has resisted all offers from United so far this summer, despite an offer being accepted by Barca.
De Telegraaf says United manager Erik ten Hag has held another round of talks with De Jong and convinced the board to up their contract offer to the midfielder.
De Jong started Sunday's victory at Real Sociedad, though was played out of position.
United officials are expected in Barcelona today for one final effort to convince De Jong to make the move.
