Man Utd keeper Romero will repay Mourinho for start in Europa final

Man Utd keeper Sergio Romero is looking forward to repaying manager Jose Mourinho for putting faith in him for the Europa League final against Ajax.

The Argentinean, who has played a backup to David De Gea for most of the season, has been handed the responsibility in the sticks for the final by Mourinho.

"I arrived here on a free transfer, nobody knew me and now Jose [Mourinho] and the other players has given me a lot of confidence and for me it's very important," said the Argentinean.

"I will try to do my best for the team. The most important thing is the squad and the fans. We go to Stockholm for the win.

"I'm very happy the manager said I would play in the final. I work every day to play and when the weekend arrives and I don't play, I go home very down.

"But inside I always have the determination to continue, to fight every time, because I am the No. 1 in Argentina."
