Man Utd keeper Bishop: How Ten Hag changing our approach

Manchester United goalkeeper Nathan Bishop has revealed a change of approach this season under manager Erik ten Hag.

Bishop has explained that Ten Hag wants his goalkeepers to be more proactive in matches.

"Do you know what, Erik [Ten Hag] has come in and he has brought a philosophy [proactive]," Bishop told the Manchester Evening News. "When you see the way David [De Gea] is playing now, running out and getting onto the ball, it's coming down from the first team.

"I'm learning from the best goalkeepers in the world, so to have that in front of me and to learn from that is the most important thing. It's unreal, training with some of the best players, the best defenders, the best goalkeepers and we've got top coaches.

"As much as you learn in training, it's always nice to put it into practice in games and having players around you in the U21s that are having the same practice as well."
