Manchester United are seeking to secure a buy-back clause in their agreement before selling Timothy Fosu-Mensah to Bayer Leverkusen.
Despite rival interest from Borussia Dortmund and Ajax, Bayer are closing on a deal for the Holland fullback.
With less than six months to run on his contract, Fosu-Mensah is set to move to Bayer for a knockdown £1.5m.
However, the Sky Deutschland says United are insisting on a buy-back clause be included before green lighting the sale.
It's been suggested Fosu-Mensah could be in Leverkusen today for a medical.
