Manchester United are now in contact with wantaway Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann.

The Mirror says with his proposed move to Barcelona suddenly in jeopardy, Griezmann could yet find himself at Old Trafford.

The 28-year-old has already confirmed he will move on from Atletico, and it looked almost a foregone conclusion that he would end up at the Nou Camp, with Barcelona having been linked with the player for some time.

But the Catalan club appear to have had a change of heart, with some questioning the conduct of the player after his video which announced his departure from the Wanda Metropolitano.

This has seen United make contact, and Griezmann is said to be open to a move. He has a release clause of £108m, which United are thought to be willing to pay.
