Manchester United star Jesse Lingard has praised teammate Marcus Rashford's performances this season.

Marcus Rashford managed only 11 goals in 53 appearances for Manchester United this season but the youngster did claim a number of crucial strikes in helping the Red Devils claim the EFL Cup as well as the Europa League title.

Jesse Lingard was left very impressed with Rashford's contributions during the current campaign and predicts the youngster to improve in the upcoming seasons.

Lingard said: "He's doing really well. He's obviously had to play up front with Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] being injured, but he's come to the front and popped up with some crucial goals."
