Manchester United are in talks with Omari Forson to secure his future in the coming months.
The Red Devils do not want to lose the 19-year-old, as he has emerged from the academy.
Per the Manchester Evening News, United hope that he will sign a new, long-term deal.
Forson will get a wage rise, while he will be hoping to train and play more often with the first team.
United did use him in pre-season against Borussia Dortmund in a summer friendly, but he came off in the first half due to getting a yellow card and looking likely to get a red.
However, such an incident has not derailed his career, as he is still viewed very positively inside the club.
