Manchester United defender Chris Smalling is willing to take a pay cut to join Roma permanently.
The England centre-back has spent this season on loan with the Italian capital club.
And now Smalling wants to move there permanently, and will give up some money to do so, per Sky Sports Italia.
The 30-year-old is enjoying Roma so much that he is happy to sign a permanent contract, if they can agree on a fee with United.
There is also interest in Smalling from Arsenal and Tottenham, but it is unclear if he would be willing to join a Premier League rival to United.
Smalling is still well regarded by United fans, players and coaches, and he may not want to sour those relationships.
