Manchester United defender Harry Maguire knows many England fans don't want him in the squad.

However, Maguire has always had the full support of England coach Gareth Southgate.

He said, "There are a lot of people out there who probably don't think I should be part of the squad, but there are also millions of people who think I should.

"That's how football is, and football is such a cool sport because so many people have different attitudes."

Maguire added: "I mean, I have been part of all the squads where I have been available, and I have played in all the current matches where I have been available. It gives me great confidence."
