Manchester United star Lisandro Martinez has travelled to Argentina for their international games.

The diminutive centre half was withdrawn during United's 3-1 loss to Arsenal in the Premier League at the weekend.

While Martinez appeared to have suffered a knock, tests have shown he has no injury.

Argentina face Ecuador in Buenos Aires before they play Bolivia in La Paz a few days later.

Martinez will have tests done again in his homeland to ensure there is no injury problem.

The Manchester Evening News states that he will be treated cautiously, but that he is fit to play games.
