Manchester United may have found an alternative to Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong.
The Red Devils are embroiled in difficult negotiations with the Spanish club for the Dutch midfielder.
Fabrizio Romano - speaking to GiveMeSport - has reported that United are likely to submit a new de Jong bid in the coming week.
However, the transfer expert adds that if United do not agree a fee for the central midfielder, they will turn their attention elsewhere.
Wolves star Ruben Neves is their backup, in case they cannot persuade Barca to part with de Jong.
