Man Utd consider Perisic stop-gap before Sancho move next summer

Manchester United are weighing up an offer for Ivan Perisic.

The Croatian was a long-term target for former manager Jose Mourinho, but Ed Woodward rejected the chance to sign him.

However things have changed at Old Trafford, and with the club struggling to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, alternatives are being considered.

One of them, according to the Mirror, is Inter Milan veteran Perisic.

The 31-year-old spent last season at Bayern Munich and the German club would like him to return.

But United could provide competition for his signature.

The Red Devils would want to sign Perisic on loan for a season before pursuing Sancho next summer.

The move could be scuppered by Bayern's interest, with Inter keen to raise funds for other transfers.
