Man Utd chief Woodward holds Falcao talks with Monaco

Manchester United are still contemplating the permanent purchase of Radamel Falcao.

Reports suggest that United chief executive Ed Woodward has held talks with Monaco regarding the Colombian striker, 29, who is on a season-long loan from the French club.

Falcao has struggled under Louis van Gaal this season, scoring just four goals in all competitions for the Red Devils, and it was believed that United would not exercise the permanent option.

However, Woodward has now met with Monaco officials regarding the potential £43.5million transfer fee for the former FC Porto and Atletico Madrid star.
