Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is confident of signing Southampton fullback Nathaniel Clyne this year.
The Mirror says Van Gaal expects to wrap up a £15million deal for Clyne in the summer.
Clyne is inside the final 18 moths of his current deal and has postponed new contract talks "until April".
Van Gaal wants new faces at right-back and centre-half, and Clyne looks set for United having chosen Southampton over them when he left Crystal Palace three seasons ago.
