Man Utd boss Ten Hag sets Ronaldo sale stance

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag insists he doesn't want to see Cristiano Ronaldo sold.

Ronaldo has been dropped and banished from senior training after leaving victory over Tottenham before the final whistle while being an unused sub.

However, Ten Hag insists he still wants to work with the striker.

Ronaldo said, "I count on Cristiano Ronaldo for the rest of the season.

"He's sidelined for this game, and then we move on. I'm open to that and to me it's just a warning. Cristiano remains an important part of the squad and I'm counting on him for the rest of the season."
