Man Utd boss Ten Hag: Everything has gone against us

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has likened his job to that of a minister.

The Dutchman admits it's been a tough season for him personally.

He said, "You have to be realistic. Being a manager is like being a minister.

"You have nothing in your own hands, but after all, you have to accept it. You are in charge of it all and I like that.

"There have been extremely many injuries. A lot has gone against us this season.

"Some of the penalties that have been awarded against us could also have gone the other way.

"When you look at a season overall, it is usually the case that something goes with you and something goes against you, but this season it is as if everything has gone against us."
