Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Alexis Sanchez should be fit for the start of the season.
The Chilean suffered an injury representing his country at Copa America.
Sanchez suffered a hamstring strain during their defeat in the third-place playoff against Argentina.
The 30-year-old was already due to have a three-week break after his international commitments - and Solskjaer is confident the injury will not extend that period.
“I don't think Alexis's injury was too bad," Solskjaer said in a press conference in Perth, where United have started their pre-season tour of Australia.
“When he's due back is three weeks after his last game, so that will be just after we come back from tour. I would expect him to be fit enough to play straightaway and train straightaway."
