Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refuted claims of a rift with youngster Brandon Williams and Mason Greenwood.
Neither was involved for United against Newcastle United and Greenwood will not play against Paris Saint-Germain in midweek either.
Greenwood was training with his teammates prior to the trip, but so was Edinson Cavani, and he did not travel for the game either.
However, Solskjaer shut down media speculation that a disciplinary matter was the reason for their recent absence.
Solskjaer said during a press conference: "If that's the case why is Brandon here? Where are your sources, that's what I'm saying.
When asked by a reporter: "So no truth in that whatsoever?", the United manager responded: "No."
