Man Utd boss Solskjaer delighted with 'man of the match' Greenwood

Manchester United goalscorer Mason Greenwood was voted the club's Man of the Match after their 3-0 Europa League victory against Partizan Belgrade.

The 18-year-old scored the opening goal of the night, his second in the Europa League this season and his third in all competitions.

Greenwood also assisted United's second goal after pressing the Partizan left-back and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised the teenager's calmness in front of goal.

“Mason showed great composure - the keeper was going the wrong way, so he just changed his mind. I'm very happy with that one.

“I'm very pleased with all the finishes, all three goals were high class."

Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford were also on the scoresheet.

Solskjaer continued: "The second one was from Anthony [Martial] and was probably the skill of the night. Then it was great to see Marcus [Rashford] finishing with his left foot.

"He will get into those positions quite often in a game. For him to go on the outside, on his left, it is not great for defenders to see. It is good for us because he can go inside on his right and then finish with his left."
