Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer thinks that Kalidou Koulibaly is as good as Virgil Van Dijk.
United have been linked with the Napoli centre-back in the past, but his price tag has always put them off.
Solskjaer may not be inclined to make a summer offer for Koulibaly, but the Evening Standard claims the Norwegian boss rates him very highly.
He believes that Koulibaly is one of the best three central defenders in the world.
United will spend the summer attempting to secure a right winger, striker, and possibly a replacement for want-away Paul Pogba.
Koulibaly, who is now 28, is an unlikely prospect for the Red Devils given his age and his value to Napoli.
