Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed Eric Bailly will miss three to four weeks of action, according to the club's website.
Bailly was a surprise omission from Tuesday's win over PSG in the Champions League after featuring against Newcastle at the weekend.
But Solskjaer told reporters in Paris that Bailly will not be available until the next international break.
It is likely Bailly will miss fixtures against Chelsea, RB Leipzig, Arsenal, Istanbul Basaksehir and Everton.
The performance of Axel Tuanzebe against PSG could quell the disappointment over Bailly.
Tuanzebe won praise from Solskjaer and his teammates after nullifying Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at the Parc de Princes.
