Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says there's an agreement with the board that it will take time to rebuild the squad.
Solskjaer is back home in Norway for tonight's friendly with Kristiansund.
He told VG: "I now have more to say about long-term planning than when I was temporary, and we agree with most decisions that matter.
"The preseason run has been very positive so far, and the boys have come back in good shape."
Asked about handling the local press, Solskjaer added: "I don't care that much. I relate to the owners and my board, and I know what it takes. We agree that it will take time and it will take time.
"We can't expect it to go one way all the time."
