Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is excited about the prospect of signing Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.

The Daily Star Sunday says an official bid of £20million will be enough to get Van Persie, 28, to Old Trafford.

Ferguson is more confident than ever that he has got his man after patiently waiting for the deal to go through this summer.
