Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been banned from Peterborough United games - because he's jinx!

Son Darren, the Posh manager, has banned Dad from their crucial game with Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.

"He's not going to come Saturday," Ferguson Jnr said on Thursday of his father. "We did talk about it and he wanted to come but I said, 'Nah, just leave it'.

"The last game he went to was the Milton Keynes game, the (League One play-off) semi-final first leg (in 2011). We got beat and I said, 'Stay away'. He didn't even come to Old Trafford for the final. My mum won't come, she's a bag of nerves."
