Manchester United have added Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana to their shortlist of names should they need to replace David de Gea this summer.

The Independent says United will attempt to sign Onana from Ajax if David de Gea leaves the club this summer.

It is claimed United are more likely to move for Onana, valued at around £40million, than the Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, who would cost around £100million.

United are said to be aware that Oblak wants to move to Old Trafford but do not want to spend so much money on a goalkeeper when there are other areas of the squad that need strengthening.

Onana has also been linked with a return to Barcelona this summer to replace wantaway reserve keeper Jasper Cillessen.
