Manchester City winger David Silva insists he can succeed in the Premier League.
There are question marks over Silva's slight frame being suited to English football.
But Silva, 24, said: "People say you have to be big and strong to play in the Premier League, but you cannot just judge a player by their size.
"You have to look at their qualities, too. Look at Spain, we won the World Cup with small players.
"In the Spanish team we have the three main attributes of a winning team. We are good technically, quick, but also strong.
"I'm confident I can be a success in English football. I have said all along that I just need time.
"Remember I only came to the club at the start of last month after the World Cup."
