Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts has dismissed claims of cutting short his loan with Girona.

Roberts joined the La Liga upstarts in the summer and has played in his side's last three matches in all competitions.

It was reported Roberts would cut short his stay in Spain but the 21-year-old has shot down those rumours.

TV3 journalist Cristina Busquets Rovira took to Twitter to dismiss concerns Roberts is for the off.

She said: “He assured us he will remain at Girona and is ignoring the rumours that have arisen about a possible move in January."
