Manchester City have no plans to stand in Aymeric Laporte's way this summer.
The 28-year-old has not been first choice for the Citizens under Pep Guardiola this season.
Given he has only played twice in all competitions since February, he is ready for the next chapter of his career.
While City would want to hold onto Laporte, they will let him leave if his mind is made up.
Laporte, who cost £57 million from Athletic Bilbao in 2018, is so out of favor that even when his manager picks four centre backs in a starting line up, he does not always get a game.
City sold the likes of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling last summer when they wanted more game time at other clubs.
