Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva is valued at £100 million by Manchester City.

The Citizens are never ones to stand in the way of players who want to leave.

While Bernardo does want to move to Barcelona, City believe it is very late in the transfer window for them to find a replacement.

As such, The Athletic states that City want a mammoth fee to part with the 28-year-old attacking midfielder.

Bernardo is desperate to leave England, but will not be unprofessional to a club he admires either.

City star Kevin De Bruyne said at the weekend that he expected Silva to remain at the club.
