Manchester City star Bernardo Silva wants to join Barcelona this summer.

The Portuguese midfielder has long harboured a desire to leave City.

While he had an excellent season last term, Mundo Deportivo states that Silva's heart is set on a move to the Catalan giants.

However, the club's financial situation means a big bid for Silva seems unlikely.

The 27-year-old may have to wait and see if Barcleona can sell Frenkie de Jong to Manchester United, as they may use those funds to secure his signature from City.

Bernardo also spoke with Barca chiefs about a move to the club when they signed Ferran Torres from City in January.
