Manchester City midfielder Rodri admits they need to keep a close watch on Eden Hazard in tonight's Champions League showdown with Real Madrid.
Discussing the threats the La Liga Champions pose, Rodrigo highlighted Hazard's skill and the influence of Casemiro, who he also dubbed 'a vital cog' in Madrid's machine.
“We are the sort of team who wants to play against opponents with the best players on the pitch," he said, addressing the media in Thursday's pre-match press conference.
“Hazard is one of the best in the world. He can turn a game and influence a result.
“It's down to Zidane to decide if he isn't fully fit. We know the dangers he can bring."
On Casemiro, he added: “Every team needs someone who brings solidity, balance and tactical discipline.
“Obviously skilful players decide a game in an instant but every team needs solidity. He's a vital cog in their machine."
