The Citizens, who are eager to bolster their front line after the sale of Riyad Mahrez, have put in a bid for a Brazilian talent.

Per Ge Globo in Brazil, who are said to be extremely reliable, City's bid is for Lucas Paqueta.

The attacking midfielder, who had a mixed season last term, is the subject of a £70 million offer.

West Ham, who have already lost Declan Rice for big money, would loathe to lose another first teamer.
