Man City keeper Hart embracing Champions League pressure

Joe Hart says Manchester City have welcomed the stress that comes with competing in the UEFA Champions League.

As City get set for Tuesday night's Round of 16 second leg against Dynamo Kiev at the Etihad Stadium, goalkeeper Hart insists he and his teammates have the confidence that they belong in Europe's elite after finding it difficult to break through to the knockout stages in their first few seasons involved.

"It's going to be difficult. It's a really difficult tournament, but we've got to believe we can win it otherwise there's no point in turning up," said Hart.

"You could look at it as pressure, but it's something really exciting. I can only speak for myself, but it's really exciting being in this situation, going into the last-16 game with a good option of going through, doing something I haven't done before and creating history for this club."

City take a 3-1 lead over the Ukrainian side into the home leg after Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Yaya Toure all found the back of the net at the Olympic Stadium late last month.
