Man City have sights set on Manc derby - Silva

David Silva says Manchester City have one eye on next week's all-important Manchester derby.

The Citizens are up against bottom-placed Fulham at home on Saturday before turning their attentions to Tuesday's short trip to Old Trafford to take on neighbours Manchester United.

Despite the fact that David Moyes' men are sitting seventh on the Premier League table, City playmaker is remaining cautious as he is well aware that a derby match can any side up for the challenge no matter their position in the standings.

"First thing, we have to think of Saturday, but a derby is a derby," said the Spaniard.

"At the moment we are better but in any derby anything can happen. So we just have to go out and win the matches. It's a derby but the powers (in the city) don't shift in derbies.

"We have won (there) the last two years, and hopefully this will be the third one."

Man City are currently fourth on the league table on 60 points, six behind league leaders Chelsea, but with three games in hand. Liverpool and Arsenal are second and third respectively on 62 points having played twice more than City.
