Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker says Arsenal deserve all the credit for being top of the Premier League.
The Gunners are the form side in the division, and even after a 0-0 draw with Newcastle United, hold a five point lead over City at present.
However, the Citizens do face off against the Gunners twice before the season concludes.
Walker spoke about the title race, per the club website, before his side beat Chelsea 1-0 on Thursday: “That is where everyone wants to be.
“At the midway point, you want to be sitting at the top of the league.
“Full credit to Arsenal, they have played some fantastic football this season so far. But as we all know, there is a lot of football to be played.
“We have only played 16 games, so we aren't technically even halfway.
“There are still a lot of games to play and there are going to be a lot of twists and turns I believe.
“Teams are playing each other and you need to take points off the teams around you.
“We start on Thursday with Chelsea."
