Manchester City fullback Rico Lewis has been promoted to the senior England squad.

Lewis is added by England coach Gareth Southgate from the U21s.

He steps up to replace City captain Kyle Walker, who has withdrawn after suffering a hamstring strain in the friendly defeat to Brazil.

Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford is also added from the U21s after Crystal Palace's Sam Johnstone was released.
