Man City facing points penalty for next season

Manchester City face a points penalty for next season.

The Times says the Premier League are continuing to investigate claims that City have breached their Financial Fair Play rules, despite the current coronavirus pandemic. The club could be docked points if found guilty.

Eight of the league's current top 10 clubs have also recently tried to ensure that City's European ban is upheld, and the club could be facing sanctions at both home and abroad next season.

City are also waiting for the Court of Arbitration for Sport to hear their appeal against a two season Champions League ban.
