Manchester City fullback Kyle Walker has undergone groin surgery.
Walker went under the knife after suffering a groin injury to his left leg during the first half of Manchester City's 6-3 win over Manchester United on Sunday.
City boss Pep Guardiola has said he "does not know" if the England defender will be fit for the World Cup.
Walker, 32, has 70 caps for England but has just over six weeks to return before the tournament in Qatar.
