Man City defender Walker: Treble can happen

Manchester City ace Kyle Walker has stated that his side must maintain the high standards they have set this season.

The Citizens are on course for the treble, which would match the achievement of cross town rivals Manchester United in 1999.

Walker and his teammates beat Fulham 2-1 on Sunday, days after defeating Arsenal 4-1 in a title clash.

“I've been very fortunate to play in some fantastic Manchester City teams," Walker declared post-game.

“The form has come at a really good time, but we need to make sure we keep this up. We've set the bar and the standards now.

“I think it's just the caliber of players and the manager that we have. Everyone in that dressing room is winners - we've proved it season in, season out.

“Now this is crunch time. This is the time that big players step up for big occasions and we go and get the victories that we need to get to our ultimate goal."
