Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte admits he's not a football fan.

Laporte is with Spain at the Qatar World Cup.

He revealed: “I have not even looked, I have not made the predictions, I have done nothing. Who do we cross with group F? I had no idea. Honestly, when I play with City, I don't even know what time the games start.

"My family calls me and says: hey, what time tomorrow? Well I don't know."

Asked about playing for City manager Pep Guardiola and Spain coach Luis Enrique, he also said: "They are very different, despite having the same idea of keeping the ball.

"They both want the ball to handle the game but it is true that with Guardiola you try to unbalance the rival a little more, risking even more than here. Here perhaps they are more necessary risks. With Spain, it's exactly the same ambition, the same principles and the same idea from the first moment I arrived."
