Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has declared winning the Treble will require a burning "focus".

Laporte was speaking when reflecting on their 3-0 win at Everton.

“It's massive for us and important for the season," he said on the win over Everton. "We deserve many things. Hopefully we can get the treble, but we have to be focused in every single game, do what we have done in the last few weeks even more."

Laporte also hailed captain Ilkay Gundogan after his brace at Goodison Park.

“Massive," he added. "The last two games he's scored four goals so he's massively important for us. He's a top, humble guy and we love him. I'm very happy for him.

"With those we were a bit calmer. We managed the game really well and we took the three points which is the most important thing for us for the rest of the competition."
