Aymeric Laporte was happy to be back on the pitch for Manchester City in victory over West Ham United last night.

On his return to the Etihad, Laporte was cool and composed at the back for 64 minutes, proven by his impressive 98.3% pass accuracy.

"I'm happy with the result and to be back on the pitch at the Etihad Stadium," he declared afterwards.

"The people here push me to do a good job."

"To be back playing at home, I'm happy with that. It was difficult for me being out of the team for this long time but I'm happy to be back with my teammates."
