Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte broke a Premier League record on Monday night.

City's victory at Tottenham means the club remain undefeated in the Premier League when defender Laporte has started.

The Spaniard has played 19 matches in the competition, winning 17 and drawing two.

That total is a new record, the player, who joined the club in January, now having gone more games without losing than any other in the history of the Premier League.

Laporte joined City last January from Athletic Bilbao.
