Manchester City centre back Manuel Akanji is not satisfied by winning the Treble one time.

The Swiss defender was part of the City team that won the Champions League, Premier League, and FA Cup last term.

As he prepares to go to his homeland to take on Young Boys in the Champions League group stages, he outlined his ambition to reproduce last season's historic Treble.

Speaking to reporters, Akanji said: "I want to go again this season and win all that's possible.

"Unfortunately we can't win the Carabao Cup but all the other competitions I hope we can fight for them and hopefully lift some more trophies this year.

"I think we started really well in the season, we didn't win the Community Shield but after that we had a long streak of winning but then the three losses in England.

"Obviously that wasn't good for us but it's good to show the reaction and to win the game at the weekend which wasn't easy."
