Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji has taken aim at former club Borussia Dortmund.
The Swiss insists he was poorly treated in the final months of his time with Dortmund.
He told Blick: “It was not an easy moment for me.
"I was part of the team and had a contract in place; I was focused and kept giving everything during training. But the principle of performance no longer mattered, I was sitting in the stands no matter how well I trained.
"Choice of coach or management? I don't know, you have to ask the club. Mine are just guesses. Manchester City? They dealt with my agent and with Dortmund. It was all extremely fast. Within two days I flew to Manchester and my transfer became official."
