Omar Berrada has stated his belief that Pep Guardiola will lift Manchester City to 'another level'.

City acquired the services of Spanish tactician Guardiola as manager this summer and there is understandably a lot of excitement among Premier League fans due to the arrival of the successful coach.

Berrada, Group Commercial Director of Manchester City Football Marketing, has been speaking about the arrival of Guardiola recently and has stated confidently that the former Barcelona boss will lift the Citizens to 'another level' during the upcoming campaign.

"Pep is a proven winner," Berrada told ESPN.

"He has a track record of delivering success and also has a track record of delivering teams that play beautiful football.

"What he's going to do is help elevate the quality of the team and make us more competitive. But more generally as a club we're all going to rise up another level.

"It's good that Pep is one of the finest managers around right now and in the game. He is known everywhere giving the success that he's had both as a player and a manager.

"And I think he will help us definitely raise our visibility and awareness around the world. But the impact he's going to have mostly is on the pitch. As we all know this is what fans mostly want to see."
